Dear Alan and Nusinow Family,
I just heard the sad news about “Aunty Esther.” She was the only person in my life who carried the title “Aunty” who was not related to me. I have so many fond memories of my Aunty Esther from across the street in Lincolnwood. In particular, I remember her delicious spinach noodle casserole I first tasted as little boy. For decades after that, I would always tell her about that memory.
She was always there at our family gatherings — for both happy and sad occasions. Aunty Esther was a true friend to my parents and to our entire family. May you have comfort in the beautiful memories you have with her.

Dear Alan:
I just heard the news about my Aunty Esther, and can’t tell you how heartbroken I am. She was there every step of the way for my family and me. I have a lifetime of wonderful memories with her — too many to recount!
Truly wishing you and the family peace and strength and know that I’m thinking of you all.
Take care and please be in touch.
All best,
Steven

Dear Alan,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your wonderfully sweet and kind mother. We enjoyed holiday dinners together. She was an amazing cook with her delicious dishes and baked goods.
With sincere condolences,

I knew Esther for just over six years. She loved her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Esther was a beautiful woman from the inside and out. She was a warm, kind and gentle person.
I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to know her.
She will be missed.
My deepest condolences.

Esther always dressed beautifully. She wore her famous orange lipstick. She loved her family & loved cooking for everyone- especially desserts!!
She did a lot of volunteer work & loved working at Mother’s Aid. Great bridge player & was very social.

So sorry for your loss. I will always remember Esther walking down the aisle, as the mother of the groom, with the most stunning long red, sparkly dress, blond hair and red lipstick. She was just beautiful.
